Madeleine's is a neighborhood bakery that opened in Jan. 2007 in a community where food
is celebrated and locally, hand-produced items are sought out. Dan Almquist, Nancy Kolberg,
Rhonda Shapiro came together with the desire to have a place where you could come and have
a croissant, baguette, or slice of cake.
As in European cities, Madeleine's has quickly become a place where the locals stop each
morning and friends meet for a cup of tea and pastries.
The goal of Madeleine's is to create European inspired baked goods that best showcase the
great products available form the Midwest and Europe's artisans. Keeping in mind the traditions
in Europe our breads and pastries are baked daily on site from fresh ingredients.
